XVision is a browser extension that adds growth insights to X (x.com). This policy explains what the extension does with data. The short version: everything stays in your browser. XVision has no servers and sends nothing anywhere.
What XVision reads
On x.com and twitter.com only, XVision reads data that X has already loaded into the page you are viewing, such as follower counts, post view and reply counts, post text and account creation dates. It uses this only to show badges, charts and filters to you.
XVision does not run on any other website and cannot see your other tabs.
What XVision stores
Using your browser's built-in extension storage, on your device only, XVision keeps:
- Your settings
- Your own daily follower count and recent post statistics
- Counts of your own posts and replies for the daily goals
- Aggregated reach statistics by hour and hashtag, used for "best time to post"
- Accounts you follow and whether they follow you back, and reply counts between you and other accounts
- Private tags and notes you choose to write about accounts
What XVision does not do
- It makes no network requests of its own and has no servers.
- It does not collect, sell, share or transfer any data to anyone, including the developer.
- It does not use analytics, tracking or advertising.
- It does not read your password, cookies, messages or browsing history.
- It never posts, likes, follows or replies on your behalf.
Your control
You can turn any feature off in the extension's Settings. Removing the extension from Chrome deletes all data it stored. You can also copy your private notes as a backup from Settings → Notes.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this address with a new date.
